Eric Davis and Darryl Strawberry visited each other Sunday July 23, 2006 to shoot a segment for the upcoming DVD “Hitting from the Heart”. These two have been best friends all their lives and have had many similar challenges including colon cancer. They had a blast catching up and HFTH Productions captured it all. The Segment is tentatively titled “THE COMEBACK KIDS” Eric Davis and Darryl Strawberry One on One. Eric and Darryl spoke for hours about the early days in L.A., the minors, both their World Series Championships, and their amazing bout’s with colon cancer. During the all day event both Eric and Darryl sat down to sign some great duo items for the Hitting from the Heart website. It was a fun weekend. Sunday I was in San Diego for the Strikeout Cancer event at the Padres game. It was great, I got to meet a lot of fans, some cancer survivors and my old teammates, the San Francisco Giants. I had a blast watching the game with John Moores, the owner of the San Diego Padres, his generosity was second to none. The Hitting From the Heart crew was out there capturing the event for my DVD. Seeing the smiles of the Strikeout Cancer family was inspirational, can't wait to do it again.

Got a busy couple of weeks coming up. Going to Cincy to support the Reds Hall of Fame inductees, along with a surprise feature for the DVD that I'll be working on. I love all of your comments and appreciate all the support.
